Free Sample of Theta Waves Brainwave Entrainment

Here is a sample of theta waves you can listen to online. Duration for this wave tone is 1 minute in length.
Theta wave frequency is quite slower than our awake beta state so entrainment may take longer the first time you use it. Succeeding sessions may allow your brain to be entrained in a shorter period of time.

You may download this tone at the brainwave entrainment blog.

Once you are entrained to this theta frequency, your conscious mind chatter will slow down while your subconscious mind becomes more dominant. Mental imagery in this state becomes more pronounced and you can take a glimpse of your subconscious thoughts, both from your saved memories and from the collective consciousness of the universe.

Affirmations can more likely be heard and effected in the subconscious mind in this state than in the higher frequencies but the problem is, your conscious mind has little power and it would be difficult to phrase your affirmations mentally and you may fall asleep. People adept to this level however can maintain a degree of conscious awareness where they can still state their affirmations correctly.

One method to use affirmations effectively while in the theta brainwave state is to listen to recorded affirmations. You may embed this recorded affirmations in your isochronic tones. I'll post a tutorial about this later on. Meanwhile, get yourself to be acquainted with the theta state and practice listening to it without falling asleep.

What you may expect from theta wave entrainment are:
  • increased creativity
  • increased awareness of deep unconscious messages, ideas will keep coming.
  • feeling rested and refreshed after the session.
There are other effects that you may experience such as quicker manifestation of your affirmations. Affirmations however is a little bit tricky. There are ways to construct effective affirmations. I'll touch on that later on.

Check on this blog often as I'll post more articles on tapping the power of isochronic tones to bring you more health, wealth, abundance, success and prosperity.

THETA WAVES

What are Theta Waves?

Here lies the seat of deep meditative state. Rhythmic chantings of Buddhists monks allow them to reach theta state where they experience becoming one with the universe. Shamans reach their trance state to heal by the rhythmic beating of the drums. This rhythmic patterns fall within the range of theta waves (4hz-8hz).

Theta waves are observed during extrasensory perceptions, astral projection or any psychic activities.

Super learning can also be achieved in this state. Children especially pre-schoolers easily generate theta waves in their brain when they are engrossed in any activity. Ever wondered why children learn so fast? As children mature, their theta states become less frequent as the beta state become more predominant in their waking hours.

Theta waves occurs before deep sleep (delta waves) and you are actually semi-conscious in this state. Our conscious mind can examine our subconscious mind in this state but has little influence over what transpires. Vivid imagery can be experienced in this state. Have you experienced seeing vivid mental pictures when you are almost asleep? See clear images of people whom you have never seen before?

Addictions can be cured using this brain state. So are reprogramming deep seated beliefs, increasing creativity, super learning and many more things that your mind and body can benefit. It normally occurs before falling asleep and when we are engaged in a repetitive task or things that don't require our conscious attention (leaving that tasks to the automatic response of our subconscious). Driving a car in a long stretch of highway and all you hear is the purr of the engine or the wind creating sounds when it comes in contact with your car can also bring you into this state but very dangerous.

Theta state falls within the alpha state and the delta state. Theta waves lasts only a few minutes before you fall into deep sleep. One can extend the length of time you spend in the theta state and harness the benefits it brings to your mind and body. Meditation is one way but could take a lot of practice. Another way is by using brainwave entrainment techniques such as isochronic tones which your brain can easily move in step in just a few minutes.

BRAINWAVES

Types of Brainwaves

Brainwaves are produced by our brains in whatever state of consciousness we are in: waking, sleeping, daydreaming, solving mathematical equations, dancing, singing, etc.. These brainwaves are measurable as electrical signals using a device called EEG (electroencephalogram).

There are four types of brainwaves and they differ in frequency ranges. The table below illustrates the brainwave types, the frequency range and a brief description.

BRAIN WAVE FREQUENCIES
TYPE FREQUENCY DESCRIPTION
BETA 13hz-38hz This occurs when we are fully awake. 2-20microvolts
ALPHA 8hz-13hz Occurs when you are relaxed and not doing any major mental work. 20-60microvolts
THETA 4hz-8hz Light sleep 20-100microvolts
DELTA 0.5hz-4hz Deep sleep. 20-200microvolts

The frequency range tells us how many times a brainwave pulses in 1 second expressed in hertz (hz). The fully awake state(beta) has the highest frequency range and gets slower as it goes to the sleep state (delta). As the frequency goes lower the amplitude or strength of the pulses goes higher.

The voltage levels (amplitude) are so small that they are measured in microvolts (millionths of a volt).

BRAIN WAVE FREQUENCY PATTERNS
TYPE BRAINWAVE PATTERN
BETA beta waves
ALPHA alpha waves
THETA  theta waves
DELTA  delta waves

The waveforms presented above are uniform in shape for simplicity and does not represent the actual pattern as seen from an electroencephalograph as shown below.

Dominant Brainwaves

When we are in the waking state or fully awake, we are in beta but it does not mean that there are no activities from the the other wave types. It's just the beta brainwaves are dominant and the rest have small signals or little activity. Likewise if you are in the alpha state, the dominant brainwave pattern is the alpha type while the rest are somewhat in the background but still performing the necessary functions for our body.

Isochronic Tones

Using isochronic tones, we can selectively make certain brainwaves dominant. Some frequencies enhance our focus and concentration while some silence our conscious murmurs, and bring us to a meditative state.

Only a few minutes of listening to an isochronic tone can bring us to a desired state. A meditative state can be achieved much faster, memory can be improved, sleep much better, etc.
